Emirates has a rich history of innovation and ensures Business Class passengers ‘fly better’, as the first airline globally to introduce an onboard lounge for Business Class passengers in 2008. In 2007, Emirates was the first airline to equip its entire fleet with mobile phone connectivity, and then in 2011, was the first globally to introduce onboard Wi-Fi for passengers. Emirates was also the first airline in the world to order the iconic ‘double decker’ aircraft, the Airbus A380, which has now become a signature product in the Emirates fleet. Providing a haven of tranquility, Emirates Lounges offer Business Class customers the highest standards of comfort and ease at every stage of their journey. There are 39 dedicated Airport Lounges across key cities in the Emirates network, all designed with the same attention to detail and exceptional service.

Business Class Seating– A380

• There are 76 seats available in the 3 & 4-class configured A380, or 58 seats in the 2-class configured A380.
• The seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, and all seats convert to innovative fully flat beds.
• Exceptionally comfortable 18.5” wide seats, pitched up to 44” apart.
• Seats recline into 76.6”- to 78.6” fully flat beds for a comfortable sleep.
• 6 way adjustable headrest and electric footrest extension.
• Staggered seat arrangement so passengers have an individual entry and exit path from seat to aisle.

Business Class Seating- 777

• There are 42 comfortable seats available on the 777-300ER and 38 on the 2-class 777-200LR.
• The seats are arranged in a 2-3-2 (-300ER) & 2-2-2 (-200LR) configuration, where all seats convert to innovative fully flat or lie-flat beds.
• Exceptionally comfortable 20.5” wide seats with seat rows pitched up to 65” apart.
• Seats recline into 78” fully flat beds for a comfortable sleep.
• 6 way adjustable headrest and electric footrest extension.

Business Class Cabin Crew

Between 3-8 (dependent on the aircraft, configuration, and customer load) multi-lingual cabin crew are exclusively dedicated to Business Class customers on every flight, ensuring that passengers enjoy the exceptional safety, service and signature hospitality Emirates is known for.

A380 Onboard Lounge

First Class and Business Class passengers have the exclusive access to the Onboard Lounge situated at the rear of the Business Class cabin on the upper deck of the A380. In addition to a fully stocked bar containing premium branded liqueurs and spirits, champagne and classic cocktails, and a selection of hot and cold snacks, casual booth seating and a 55- inch LCD screen showing the aircraft’s position and views from its external cameras. Mood lighting creates a social ambience and atmospheric vibe.

Dining in Business Class

• Fine-dining with regionally inspired menus updated monthly.
• Gourmet vegan dishes available on select routes.
• Meals feature fresh, seasonal ingredients, including produce from Emirates’ vertical farm.
• Complimentary beverages, including champagne (Veuve Clicquot or Moët & Chandon, depending on the route), hand-selected wines, and liquors.
• Meals are served with Royal Doulton china and Robert Welch cutlery.
• Special meals are available on request and if booked in advance including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, diabetic, bland, low salt, low fat, and low lactose meals.

Dining in Business Class

Safety Onboard

• HEPA filters remove 99.97% of microscopic particles like bacteria, fungi, and viruses from the air.
• All aircraft undergo enhanced cleaning and disinfection process after every trip.
• Emirates Cabin Crew clean and replenish washrooms every 45 minutes.
• Highest levels of hygiene and safety are employed in food preparation by Emirates Flight Catering.
• All comfort items and amenities are presented to passengers in hygienically sealed packaging.
• Emirates Cabin Crew are fully trained in both First Aid and Security measures onboard.
