الملاذ الرومانسي المطلق ، إصدار Love is Blind Habibi

You know where to go to experience Dubai like a cast member of Dubai Bling (out of the loop, click here), now it’s time to fall head over heels like you’re in an episode of Love is Blind Habibi with a trip to…

Lebanon (also one of Rihlat Travel News’ coolcation recommendations)!

If you’re fortunate enough to have found a Safa to your Mohammed or a Dounia to your Chafic, then there’s no better place to celebrate that romance than with a trip to Eddésands Hotel & Wellness Resort in Byblos – the filming location of the hit Netflix series.

While the couples conversing in pods may have been the focus of the show, the real highlight was the jaw-dropping beachside resort which gained a whole new realm of popularity after its feature in season one.

And it should come as no surprise with those spacious and modern rooms, distinctive pool and hot pink sunlounges, picturesque cabana dining area, and that beautiful sandy beach by the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

While we wait to find out where season two will take 24 new eager singles, here are few fun facts that’ll entice you to book your Love is Blind Habibi-inspired romantic getaway:

The resort is located in the ancient city of Byblos

Located in northern Lebanon, Byblos is believed to be one of the oldest cities in the world with first settlement between 8800BC and 7000BC. Some of the greatest civilisations inhabited the city throughout its history including the Egyptians, Assyrians, and Phoenicians.

Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is re-emerging as an upscale tourist destination thanks to its sandy beaches, archaeological sites, picturesque mountains, and of course, its feature in Love is Blind Habibi.

Stay in the Middle East, swim in the Mediterranean Sea

When Ammar took that pre-date dip in the beach, he was actually swimming (and not-so-subtle modelling) in the Mediterranean Sea.

The resort sits along the eastern side of the Mediterranean which gives tourists in the Middle East access to the same clear waters and sandy beaches that you’d expect in Europe.

Marry your Habibi on site!

If you’ve found your match, then perhaps you’d like to tie the knot at the site of Love is Blind Habibi. The Eddesands is equipped to host “enchanting” weddings whether it be in the reception hall, by the poolside or even on the beach with twinkling lights, waves and stunning sunsets. The resort even has a 900-car parking lot, so there’s no need to worry about limiting guest numbers.
