Etihad Airways is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an art exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. The exhibition, titled “Unveiling the UAE: Past, Present, and Future,” features works from prominent Emirati artists, offering a visual journey through the nation’s rich heritage, rapid modernisation, and future aspirations. This cultural initiative highlights Etihad’s commitment to the UAE’s development and cultural promotion, with artworks reflecting the UAE’s transformation from a traditional society to a modern state, capturing the essence of its visionary progress.

With the aim to foster a deeper connection between visitors and the UAE’s cultural evolution, emphasising the airline’s role in this narrative, visitors will no doubt notice key pieces depicting the region’s architecture, significant historical events, futuristic visions, and the UAE’s first NFT artist, Amrita Sethi. The event not only celebrates Etihad’s two decades of service, but also honours the UAE’s artistic talent and cultural diversity.

Tony Douglas, Group CEO of Etihad Aviation Group, emphasised the airline’s pride in its journey and its ongoing dedication to contributing to the UAE’s growth. Opened to the public until 15 July, the exhibition will be available for auction, where earnings will help support the UAE art community.
