Maroon 5 and Jared Leto among names heading to the UAE

The UAE is gearing up for an exciting line-up of cultural and musical performances.

Ticket holders to the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix can now look forward to seeing Maroon 5 at the post-race concerts. Joining the already reported Muse, the concerts will take place over the race weekend between 5 and 8 December 2024. 

Other notable performances announced at the Coca-Cola Arena include: 

  • American rapper Macklemore’s concert will take place no 4 October this year.
  • Combining classical piano with contemporary music, online sensation Peter Bence will perform orchestral versions of popular songs on 18 October.  
  • Broadway and West-End performer Lea Salonga will perform her own classics in her Stage, Screen & Everything in Between tour on 10 November.
  • Thirty Seconds to Mars, featuring Shannon and Jared Leto, will hit the stage with American Rock hits on 12 December.

Concerts are not the only events on the calendar this year. Theatre lovers will appreciate the latest lineup in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

  • The eerie and suspenseful “Woman in Black” will be haunting the Zabeel Theatre from 30 October – 2 November
  • The critically acclaimed “Chicago” will be bringing the razzle-dazzle of Broadway to Etihad Arena from 12 – 22 September.
  • The stage adaptation of the multi-Oscar-winning Life of Pi will be on at the Etihad Arena from 15 – 17 November.
  • Fleabag, the thought-provoking show based on Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s popular BBC series, will be on at The Courtyard Playhouse in Dubai on 17 August.
  • Aida will return to the Dubai Opera stage in a timeless classic from 13-15 September.
