Get ready, free travel industry resources are coming soon!

Get ready, free travel industry resources are coming soon!

We started by sharing the latest travel news when we officially launched in July this year.

Then we added a calendar of events, and destination features.

Next, Rihlat Travel News, the Middle Eastโ€™s newest and fastest growing business-to-business travel publication, will be turning on a free industry resources page packed with in-depth information and learning tools to help you stay ahead of the competion.ย

That’s right, you asked for a reliable source and now we’re delivering it!

Launchingย in just a few short weeks, the trade resource section will act as the ultimate tool to help industry professionals stay on top of a constantly evolving market, offering everything from webinars, cheat sheets, training sessions, tips and tricks, and much, much more.ย

Jon Spring, MD of Rihlat Travel News, said despite the rise in online bookings, when it comes to booking travel across the Middle East, travellers still benefit from the knowledge and expertise of industry professionals.

โ€œThe region is continuously building popularity as an end destination in itself as well as a stopover,โ€ said Spring. โ€œCountries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman are breaking visitor records and showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.โ€

โ€œDespite the heightened desire to visit, the region is still relatively unknown and considered exotic to many travellers and even some industry professionals. Knowing where to go and what to do can make or break a travel experience. As such, having the latest information including news, calendar of events, and training on the one platform saves time and money, while improving efficiency.

โ€œEssentially, Rihlat Travel Newsโ€™ trade resources aim to empower agents and others in the industry with the knowledge they need to confidently sell travel across the GCC and Middle Eastโ€

Leveraging technology, selecting between systems and generally improving business processes are demanding responsibilities for many travel organisations. With the resources, we aim to help simplify, guide and inform. One of our first resources will be airline cheat sheets and NTO training tools that will help you get to expert level.

In the meantime, agents can check out some of the existing trade and training resources from a number of tourism boards and airlines including:
