The Director of the Strategy Delivery Office (SDO) at King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC) is entrusted with driving the effective execution of strategic priorities through robust planning, governance, and performance monitoring frameworks. The role leads the preparation of Board Committee meetings materials (BoD, ExCom, ARC) , oversees the development and integration of the corporate business plan, and ensures alignment across strategic initiatives, KPIs, and risk mitigation actions. The Director plays a pivotal role in funding optimization, stakeholder engagement, and enabling cross-functional coordination to support informed decision-making. In addition, the role is accountable for embedding process excellence, institutionalizing governance mechanisms, and building internal capabilities to ensure sustainable delivery of KSIADC’s strategic objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy and Objectives
• Responsible for BoD, ExCom, ARC Committee’s presentation pack by preparing decisionready
documents and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate the strategic roadmap and end-to-end program design, ensuring alignment of
milestones, KPIs, interdependencies, and risk mitigation measures.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously update the airport business plan integrating all
commercial, design, and operational elements.
• Continuously identify risks and develop control frameworks to proactively mitigate project
and strategy execution risks.
Organization, Resources, and Monitoring
• Establish and reinforce management and working group governance structures including
leadership committees and departmental coordination mechanisms.
• Track strategic initiative progress through dashboards, leadership reporting tools, and
committee engagement processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagements (internal and external) and ensure follow-up of action
items for strategic decision making.
• Lead reporting development including dashboards, management reports, risk reports, and
funding optimization updates.
Operational
• Support development and refinement of KSIADC’s financial model including P&L
statements, cash flow forecasts, CapEx projections, and IRR analysis.
• Drive funding optimization initiatives by designing scenarios to optimize the equity and debt
structure of KSIADC’s capital plan.
• Coordinate with Local Content program coordination to align with corporate objectives and
regulatory requirements.
• Prepare strategic adjustment reports and deliver feedback mechanisms to refine KSIADC’s
strategic initiatives based on evolving internal and external factors.
• Enable internal capacity building through training support, mentorship programs, and
knowledge transfer activities for sustainable strategic delivery.
Knowledge and Experience
• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar role or equivalent with at least 5 years of
experience in a managerial position
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, CPA or
equivalent is required
• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
