Job Purpose:
- The Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-profile events and activations at Amaala Yacht Club.
- This includes member events, regattas, VIP functions, brand activations, and lifestyle experiences aligned with the club’s luxury identity.
- The role ensures seamless execution from concept to completion while working with internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional service, aesthetic excellence, and operational precision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the full lifecycle of events, from concept, budgeting, and logistics to post-event reporting.
- Curate a seasonal calendar of luxury member events and experiential activations that enhance engagement and club prestige.
- Liaise with internal teams, partners, and third-party vendors to coordinate all event components including F&B, entertainment, décor, branding, permits, and security.
- Ensure every event reflects the club’s luxury positioning, values, and brand tone.
- Develop detailed event briefs, run-of-shows, and contingency plans.
- Manage guest lists, RSVP systems, and VIP hosting protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing and PR for promotional and media engagement activities.
- Track event KPIs and prepare post-event evaluation reports.
- Ensure smooth execution of regattas and sailing-related events in collaboration with the marina and yacht racing teams.
Safety, Quality & Environment
- Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in event planning or luxury hospitality activations.
- Experience managing premium, high-touch events and VIP protocols.
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Luxury service orientation and aesthetic sensibility. Vendor negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities. Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.

- The role of the Front of House director is to work closely with the GM on the pre-opening and ongoing daily and annual finance operations of the Amaala Yacht Club & Marina at Amaala Triple Bay.
