Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As the culinary mastermind of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences that showcase innovation, local flavors, and world-class standards.

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control across multiple dining outlets
  • Develop and implement innovative, seasonally-inspired menus that reflect both local and international cuisines
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity
  • Collaborate closely with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and continuously improve culinary offerings
  • Stay current with culinary trends and techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting
  • Participate in culinary events and promotions to enhance the restaurant’s reputation and visibility

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training from a recognized institution
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative, visually stunning dishes with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing culinary talent
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and cost control techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various international cuisines, with a particular interest in incorporating local Saudi flavors
  • Current food safety certification
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Commercial acumen, including experience in budget management and cost optimization
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of AlUla’s culinary heritage and local ingredients is a plus

Additional Information

experience is an asset

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
