Global technology company Travelport has launched New Distribution Capability (NDC) content and enhanced servicing for Emirates on its Travelport+ platform.

This advancement will allow travel agents to access Emirates’ wide array of services and products more efficiently. The move aims to streamline the booking process and enhance customer service by personalising the experience for travellers. In the back end, agents can modify and cancel bookings, giving them great customer service and management capabilities.

Travelport has also announced a new partnership with AJet, Turkish Airlines’ low-cost carrier (LCC) brand. This partnership will bring enriched multi-source content to agency customers, enabling them to easily shop, compare, and book AJet’s international fares. The rebranded AJet, formerly known as AnadoluJet, operates 173 routes across 89 destinations and plans to expand its fleet to 100 aircraft by the end of the year.

The partnership aims to expand AJet’s market reach and enhance the travel retailing experience with modern merchandising tools. It will also provide agencies with greater selling opportunities and more choices for travellers within Turkey, Europe, and the Middle East.
