UAE’s first Baccarat Hotel, Dubai

Details for the 145-property Baccarat Hotel in Downton Dubai have been released. It promises an opulent experience with its signature blend of elegance and modernity, which the brand has been known for for more than 250 years. Guests will be able to enjoy wellness areas including a pool overlooking the Burj Khalifa, a plaza, world-class dining, a private gym, a wine cellar, and incredible views. This new addition aims to cater to high-end travellers seeking unparalleled luxury and style in one of Dubai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.

First Hotel Indigo resort in the Middle East

The Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar in Oman has made its debut, offering a unique blend of contemporary comfort and local culture amid the stunning Al Hajar Mountains. This boutique hotel features 174 rooms and suites with panoramic mountain views and a design inspired by the surrounding landscape and heritage. Guests can explore local traditions and flavours through the hotel’s restaurant and bar, or unwind at the spa, which uses regional ingredients for its treatments. The hotel’s integration of modern amenities with traditional Omani elements aims to deliver an authentic yet sophisticated stay.

The Ritz-Carlton debuts in Morocco

The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam, has officially opened, featuring a luxurious retreat with a blend of traditional Moroccan charm and contemporary elegance. The hotel boasts 117 rooms and suites, each showcasing local artwork and offering guests stunning views of the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ritz-Carlton Morroco also includes several dining options, a luxurious spa, and extensive meeting and event spaces, including 2,200 sqm of outdoor and 454 sqm of indoor space. 

Sofitel seaside resort comes to the UAE

Situated along the pristine coastline, Sofitel has unveiled its new seaside resort in the UAE, Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. The resort combines French sophistication with Emirati hospitality, featuring 292 elegantly designed rooms and suites, each offering panoramic ocean views within an hour of Dubai International Airport. Guests can enjoy various dining options, including a Polynesian restaurant and a rooftop bar. The resort’s extensive leisure facilities include a private beach, multiple outdoor pools, and a luxurious spa. 

Minor Hotels expands

Minor Hotels is expanding its footprint in the Middle East. The expansion includes new properties under the Anantara, Avani, and Oaks brands. It will feature locally inspired designs and cultural elements, aiming to provide guests with unique luxury experiences that reflect the region’s rich heritage. The new hotels will feature bespoke dining, wellness amenities, and immersive cultural activities, aiming to enhance Minor Hotels’ presence and appeal in the Middle Eastern market. This strategic growth aligns with the company’s commitment to launch 50 new properties by the end of 2026. 

Etraveli Group and Radisson Hotel debut new booking service

Radisson Hotel Group has launched Radisson Flights, a new service that integrates hotel booking with flight reservations to offer a seamless travel experience. This innovative service allows guests to book their flights and accommodations through a single platform, streamlining the travel planning process and giving the best prices. By collaborating with Etraveli Group, Radisson Flights aims to enhance convenience and provide a cohesive travel experience across 13 countries by coordinating travel and lodging details. 

DET and Emaar Hospitality join forces

This collaboration focuses on promoting Dubai as a premier global destination through joint marketing initiatives and events.
