Drawing inspiration from the renowned Spanish resort town of Marbella, the AED1 billion Marbella Resort Hotel officially opened its doors on 11 July. Located on the World Islands in Dubai, the hotel offers world-class amenities and a distinctive European architectural style.
Aiming to provide guests luxurious retreat options in the UAE, the hotel will be the first to offer its own private coral reef. It also boasts a ‘raining street’ that brings a gentle cooling rain every few minutes, various European dining options, and a Flamenco bar to bring more of the Spanish culture to life. The resort has adopted traditional Spanish living with olive and citrus groves, meditation gardens, and an Après Ski bar. Notably, this development also includes solar power as part of its energy generation and policies that aim for ‘zero discharge of microplastics’.
Kleindienst Group, the developer behind this project, continues to expand its footprint in the UAE. Known for their innovative Floating Villas in Ras Al Khaimah, Kleindienst is also gearing up to launch several new hotels within the Heart of Europe complex. Located 4km off the coast of Dubai, The Heart of Europe is a collection of six islands connected by bridges and accessible via boat, seaplane, and helicopter.
Kleindienst’s vision for the Heart of Europe encompasses 15 hotels, each with a unique theme and design. Highlights include the Venice Hotel, with its seven-star accommodations, and the Portofino Hotel, which is the region’s first five-star, family-only hotel.
