Sabre Corporation has anounced the global roll out of its Sabre Red Launchpad, a professional grade, user-friendly interface specifically desiged to provide agents with easy access to AI-powered capabilities and multi-source content, without the need for deep Global Distribution System (GDS) expertise.

Supporting air, hotel and car content, Sabre Red Launchpad acts as an extension of Sabre’s flagship interface Sabre Red 360β„’, and eliminates the complexity of creating and managing travel reservations while introducing new consumer grade shopping experiences.

Sabre Red Launchpad enables travel agents to:

  • Shop and book multi-source content, including air, hotel and car.
  • Access integrated air options including traditional content, NDC offers and low-cost carrier selections appear side-by-side for easy comparison.
  • Google Maps-based search for lodging option.
  • Seamless reservation hand-off to Sabre Red 360 in case of complex servicing needs.
  • Streamlined user interface supports a consumer-grade travel booking experience.

Thanks to its simplified userface and minimal training time, travel agencies and independent consultants can begin earning commissions faster by unlocking multi-source content available in Sabre’s marketplace.

Launch partner, Internova Travel Group, introduced Internova SNAP, a tailored version of Sabre Red Launchpad, to travel advisors who weren’t utlising a GDS. As of October more than 13,000 advisors have adopted SNAP, resulting in a notable surge in overall sales volume.

Early adopter, 1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG), also partnered with Sabre to develop a Sabre Red Launchpad powered booking platform, 1000Access. Within six months of its launch, agents were enjoying significant increases in revenue with interest growing from other travel agencies.

Kathy Morgan, Senior Vice President of Product Management, Distribution Experience, Sabre Travel Solutions, said, β€œBy listening closely to our customers and analysing changes in the travel landscape, we realised there were unmet needs in the market. Sabre Red Launchpad addresses those needs, making it easier to tap into Sabre’s extensive and multi-source travel content and generate revenue from day one.”

Recently, Sabre had also formed a strategic partnership with BookLogic to enhance their global distribution and retailing capabilities in the MENA region, particularly focusing on the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

By integrating BookLogic’s advanced hotel technology platform with Sabre’s SynXis, both companies aim to provide more accommodation options and revenue opportunities for travel agencies and suppliers across the region.

The partnership will initially connect 1,200 hotels to Global Distribution Systems and Internet Distribution Systems., with future plans including expanding to OTAs, long-tail distribution, and retail solutions. This approach provides hoteliers with a comprehensive platform for optimised operations, distribution, and guest engagement, where both parties share strategic priorities for growth and innovation across payment automation, dynamic packaging, alternative distribution, and guest experiences.

Essentially, the collaboration will enable hotels to:

  • Access a wider range of distribution channels, including Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), Internet Distribution Systems (IDSs), and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Leverage advanced pricing and inventory management tools to maximize earnings.
  • Customise guest experiences through advanced technology solutions.

Oral Yigitkus, Founder of BookLogic said, β€œThis collaboration enhances our sales and marketing reach, strengthens our combined presence, and opens new growth opportunities for both companies. It is a natural fit, combining our expertise in distribution with Sabre Hospitality’s innovative technology. Our deep understanding of the independent hotel market and Sabre Hospitality’s global technology create an integrated ecosystem that enhances operational agility, increases corporate sales network and maximizes revenue potential for our mutual clients.”

With a mutual focus on co-investing in the region, Sabre and BookLogic aim to support independent hotels and small hotel groups in offering enhanced services in local languages, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing market. The combined technology, including the advanced two-way integration and APIs, delivers tools designed to meet the specific needs of the MEA market, bolstering the ability of hoteliers to engage guests and optimize revenue in a dynamic and competitive landscape.
