IHG Hotels & Resorts will open its first boutique lifestyle brand resort in the region, Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa, on 1 September 2024. Located 2,000 meters above sea level in Oman’s “Green Mountain”, the resort features 173 rooms, suites, and chalets with majestic views, three dining venues, as well as curated wellness programs and neighborhood-inspired activities, brought to life through storytelling.

Four Seasons launches β€˜Girls’ Retreat’ packages

Get ready to treat yo’ selves with the β€œUltimate Girls’ Retreat” at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island. From 12 August, travellers can enjoy the new retreat experience package which includes 15% off City or Gulf view room rates for stays of two nights or more. Also included is a gift card for each guest for Abu Dhabi’s premium shopping destination, The Galleria, as well as in-room makeup and hair services provided by Prive7 salon. This retreat is designed for those seeking both relaxation and luxury indulgence which is why guests can also dine at Michelin-selected restaurants such as Butcher & Still or CafΓ© Milano.

Rixos Premium Dubai has teamed up with McLaren Dubai to show off the McLaren Artura Spider, priced at more than AED 1.14 million. This collaboration is aimed at luxury and car enthusiasts, offering them an opportunity to experience the blend of high-performance automotive engineering with the lavish comfort of Rixos – not to mention all the selfies one can get! Guests can view the McLaren up close at the hotel, and those looking to explore further can take the 3.0ltr twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine car for a test drive along Dubai’s picturesque coast.

Urban transformation for Al Raha Beach Hotel

Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi has recently undergone a transformation, rebranding itself as the city’s premier urban resort. Now included in the hotel are a private marina, leisure facilities, restaurants, a grand ballroom accommodating over 900 guests, and versatile meeting rooms. Guests can also enjoy an innovative spa complete with infrared sauna, dedicated family pool and kids club, and an exclusive shuttle service to some attractions on Yas Island. 

Each villa, suite, and room now has a private balcony with views of the Gulf, while the 400sqm Royal Suite includes grand living areas, a gourmet kitchen, and three bedrooms. This reimagined property is designed to cater to both leisure travellers and business visitors.

KSA’s first Edge by Rotana

Edge by Rotana is set to debut its first hotel in Saudi Arabia with the opening of Nova M Hotel Olaya Riyadh in Q4 2024. It’s designed with 104 rooms and suites, a 24/7 in-room dining service, a wellness club, rooftop pool, and three innovative meeting rooms that can cater to events. This new property aims to offer a modern and comfortable stay with amenities tailored for both business and leisure travellers.

Positioned in a prime location only 27 minutes from King Khalid International Airport, Nova M will provide easy access to the city’s commercial hubs and cultural attractions, making it a significant addition to Riyadh’s rapidly growing hospitality landscape.
