Oman launches #WithinOman campaign to boost domestic tourism

Oman has launched the #WithinOman campaign to inspire residents to explore the country through luxury staycations, adventure escapes, and cultural events this summer. The initiative features discounted hotel packages at top resorts, curated travel experiences, and easy online planning via the Visit Oman platform

From Jabal Akhdar’s cool mountains to Musandam’s coastal charm, residents can enjoy diverse landscapes and activities including festivals, nature tours, and heritage sites. The campaign supports Oman’s tourism economy while making local travel more accessible, family-friendly, and enriching for all types of travellers across the Sultanate.

DCT Abu Dhabi and Les Roches partner to empower Emirati youth in tourism and hospitality

DCT Abu Dhabi has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches to relaunch the 2025 Tourism Youth Summer Camp, running 14-24 July. Aimed at Emiratis aged 17 to 21, the two-week immersive programme will blend global hospitality standards with Emirati heritage.

Students will train in six core disciplines, including front office, culinary arts, and hospitality marketing. The initiative supports national talent development and is hosted at Les Roches’ state-of-the-art campus. The programme prepares future leaders to shape the UAE’s growing tourism and hospitality sectors with cultural pride and global ambition.

Jeddah enhances coastal and green spaces for summer leisure

Jeddah’s five major waterfronts, Roshan, Obhur, North and Middle Corniche, and Al-Saif Beach, have been transformed into vibrant leisure hubs with cycling paths, sea jetties, artistic features, and family-friendly beaches. Complementing these coastal zones is the “Bahjah” project, which is revitalising over 443 parks across the city.

Notable sites include Al-Saja Gardens and Prince Majed Park, offering green retreats and recreational facilities. Together, Jeddah’s upgraded waterfronts and urban parks deliver a well-rounded summer experience for residents and visitors alike, reflecting a city-wide commitment to enhancing quality of life through thoughtful, inclusive urban design.

  9. Duqm has launched the fourth edition of its “Mar’ Alaina” tourism campaign, showcasing the region’s appeal as a monsoon-season stopover and reinforcing its place on the local tourism map.
  10. Saudi cruise brand Aroya has joined the Cruisehost booking platform, expanding its visibility across Europe and making it easier for global travellers to book Red Sea itineraries.
