Hotels Round up: 16 April

Radisson has launched its “eSports Ready” program, offering specialized amenities for esports teams and players. Meanwhile, new hotels are opening in Turkey, Jordan, and Dubai, including voco Antalya in Turkey, Signia by Hilton in Amman, and Hotel Local in Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Triangle. Additionally, existing hotels are being rebranded and new partnerships are being formed, such as the collaboration between the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Hyatt Hotels to attract more visitorsΒ toΒ theΒ city.

Radisson launches new eSports Ready hotel campaignΒ Β

The new “eSports Ready by Radisson Hotels,” program from Radisson Hotel Group has been released. Designed to cater to the specific needs of esports teams, players, and event organisers. The initiative, developed in partnership with Spacefwd, offers over 100 properties globally with specialised amenities such as high-speed, reliable internet (500/500 Mbps), flexible services including early check-ins and late check-outs, team-centric spaces like private gaming rooms and lounges, and exclusive perks including discounts and flexible cancellation options.Β 

DET and Hyatt sign MoU to attract visitors from abroad

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has signed a strategic MoU with Hyatt Hotels in Dubai to elevate the city’s global appeal. The collaboration aims to drive innovative marketing initiatives, exclusive events, and tailored visitor experiences with the intent of attracting more visitors. Hyatt will support DET-led campaigns, including famil trips and high-profile events, and aid in promoting upcoming projects such as the new Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark. 

IHG adds voco brand in TΓΌrkiye while Visa holders get 15% off IHG middle east until October

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to bring the first voco branded hotel to TΓΌrkiye in summer 2025. The hotel in Antalya will feature 120 rooms along with amenities such as a restaurant, bar, spa, gym, outdoor pool, and meeting rooms for business travellers.

Meanwhile, IHG Middle East & Africa have also announced it has extended the exclusive discount offer for Visa credit and debit cardholders until 17 Oct 2025 (book by September 30). Guests can enjoy a minimum 15% discount when booking at least 7 days in advance, with stays including Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights. The flexible rate plan, accessible via IHG’s website, requires no advance payment or deposit and features hotel-specific cancellation deadlines, although the eligible Visa card must be issued in the MEA region.

Hilton’s new brand Signia by Hilton selects Amman for inaugural opening

Signia by Hilton is making its international debut in Amman, Jordan. The hotel, led by General Manager Luca Crocco, offers 11,270 sqm of event space, including a convention centre with a capacity of 3,400 attendees and 20 meeting rooms. It features 272 guest rooms and suites, with a premium Club Signia option. Dining facilities include 962 Bistro, an all-day dining restaurant called Insignia, Luna Bar & Lounge, and Kyra Pool Bar & Grill. Additionally, the property provides a spa, fitness center, and various entertainment options, supporting both business and leisure travel needs.

Community Hotel Local opens in JVT

First Group Hospitality and Hoque Global have launched Hotel Local in Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Dubai. The new community-oriented lifestyle hotel features 579 rooms across six distinct types catering to both short- and long-term stays. It offers a range of dining options, including a farm-to-table restaurant called Farmers Commons and the Brew cafΓ©, which serves as a morning cafΓ© and an evening lounge. In addition, the property provides premium wellness facilities, a gym, a spa, and a rooftop pool with panoramic views of the JVT skyline.

Deira’s six-hotel cluster for ICD, Accor, and Valor Hospitality Partners

Accor, ICD, and Valor Hospitality Partners have launched a six-hotel cluster in Dubai Deira Waterfront as of 1 April. The 999 key cluster, created as part of the Deira Enrichment Program, integrates three pre-existing Accor properties under the Aparthotel Adagio, ibis Styles, and Mercure brands with three new properties that will be adopted under these brands and will be managed by Valor Hospitality Partners.
