Rove Home Dubai Marina unveiled

Rove Hotels and IRTH have unveiled the Rove Home Dubai Marina, a unique residential and lifestyle hub, with a dramatic skydive stunt. The project integrates Rove Hotels’ signature luxury by combining comfortable residential spaces with hospitality services. Offering flexible living options for long-term stays, the space in Dubai’s Marina includes amenities such as, co-working spades, multi-sensory wellness pods, gaming zones, gym, and Karaoke studio. The concept aims to bridge the gap between residential and hotel living, appealing to remote workers, digital nomads, long-stay travellers, and residents seeking a lifestyle-oriented community.

China’s Sunmei Hotels Group to open first SHANKEE in Dubai

Sunmei Hotels Group is entering the UAE market with its first SHANKEE-branded property in Dubai. SHANKEE Hotel Dubai Longcheng is set to open next year and marks a milestone for the Chinese hotel giant’s international expansion strategy.

The Dubai property will feature modern designs, affordable luxury, and innovative hospitality concepts. SHANKEE Dubai is positioned to appeal to millennial and Gen Z travellers seeking premium experiences at competitive prices.

Tuaja Luxury Resorts has launched

Dan Company, specialists in adventure tourism, has unveiled its new brand, Tuaja Luxury Resorts, which promises high-end hospitality experiences blending opulence with nature. The first three resorts (Tuaja Premium Farm Resort, Tuaja Eco Resort, Tuaja Adventure Resort) will be operated by Hilton in Al-Ahsa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest date palm oasis. Focused on sustainability and exclusivity, Tuaja will feature eco-friendly practices and personalised services, as well as amenities such as gourmet dining, wellness centers, and curated local experiences.

Doha’s five-star Mayfair hotel completed

JMJ Group Holding has completed The OQ, a flagship five-star lifestyle hotel in Doha, in collaboration with Mayfair Hospitality. This luxury property offers a modern, cosmopolitan take on hospitality, catering to international travellers seeking unique experiences. Chairman Sheikh Jabor Al Thani emphasised JMJ’s strategic expansion into hospitality, enhancing Qatar’s global tourism positioning. This project aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, reflecting sustainable progress and private sector innovation, particularly in Lusail’s urban transformation, strengthening Qatar’s appeal as a luxury destination.

Hyatt plans for 50 hotel openings in the next two years

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has unveiled a pipeline of more than 50 luxury and lifestyle hotels set to open globally by 2026. With luxury travel demand on the rise, Hyatt has expanded its luxury portfolio by 28 hotels in the last three years, positioning itself for continued growth. A notable upcoming opening in the Middle East is Miraval the Red Sea in 2025. This project, marking the Miraval brand’s international debut, will be a haven for luxury wellbeing seekers and adventurers and will pave the way to bringing transformative wellness experiences and one of the largest spas in the Red Sea destination.
