Emirates doubled its network in the past year, adding nearly 1,700 cities through new partnerships, and enabling around 61,000 passengers to connect across its expansive network weekly.

By forming new partnerships and strengthening existing ones across the transportation sector, Emirates has enhanced travel options with an impressive network of 162 partners across more than 100 countries.

With this extensive network, passengers are thus able to enjoy a range of benefits, including more route connections, convenient single-ticket journeys, streamlined baggage transfers, reciprocal frequent flyer benefits, increased lounge access, and a host of other perks that ensure an elevated and hassle-free travel experience.

Through its robust network of 140 destinations and effortless connectivity at DXB, Emirates has no doubt brought popular destinations within easy reach for customers of partner airlines. In the past year alone, the carrier launched 16 new collaborations, including codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia, as well as interline arrangements with KAM Air, Sri Lankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, Viva Aerobus, Sun Express, Maldivian, Siberia Airlines and Kenya Airways.

It’s not just airline partnerships! On the ground, Emirates has also enhanced its European connectivity through codeshare partnerships with major rail operators including Trenitalia, Spanish Rail Renfe, Austrian Rail OBB, and Swedish Rail SJ, thereby allowing travellers to seamlessly connect to cities across Europe with a single ticket. Down on the French Riviera, Emirates has even pioneered an innovative interline partnership with BLADE, an urban air-mobility company, to offer passengers helicopter flights between Nice and Monaco on a single ticket.

Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, emphasised the airline’s commitment to deepening global presence and expanding its footprint through strategic partnerships, which align with Dubai’s D33 strategy to become the most connected city in the world, driving business, tourism, and investment.

Emirates’ partnerships have enabled robust networks, connecting travellers to many destinations while providing advantages including schedule optimisation, seamless connectivity, and reciprocal loyalty benefits. The airline’s cornerstone partnership with flydubai has also yielded smoother journeys and increased customer benefits, with more than 17.5 million passengers connecting on their joint networks since 2017.
