The campaign embodies the values of Qatari hospitality and the spirit of unity during the holy month. Embracing the theme “Ramadan is better with you,” the initiative highlights Qatar’s rich cultural heritage through a series of events and activities.

The campaign features a rich calendar of events, including the second edition of the Throwback Food Festival, offering a unique Ramadan experience with traditional food, interactive activities, and cultural competitions.

Traditional experiences

At the Throwback Food Festival, visitors are invited to indulge in the atmosphere of the old souq through the ‘Dakkan’, participate in heritage games, and enjoy cultural and heritage activations such as storytelling, puppet theatre performances, Qatari food tasting competitions, and folk music. The festival will culminate in a vibrant and colourful Garangao celebration, making it the ideal Ramadan destination for families and visitors of all ages.

Planning your Ramadan experience

Qatar’s Ramadan experiences combine spirituality and tradition while upholding the highest standards of tourism services. Visitors can plan their Ramadan experience in Qatar by visiting www.visitqatar.com, downloading the Visit Qatar app, or following @QatarCalendar on social media, which provides detailed information on Ramadan markets, destinations, and experiences.

Hosting family and friends
