Aquarabia Qiddiya City to make its splash on 23 April 2026

Saudi Arabia’s entertainment landscape is gearing up for a major addition as Aquarabia at Qiddiya City moves from soft launch into full operation. The preview phase has already welcomed select visitors, offering an early look at the Kingdom’s first large-scale water park and its expansive offering.

The park is now set to officially open on 23 April 2026, marking a significant milestone for Qiddiya City and Saudi Arabia’s wider tourism ambitions. Positioned as a flagship attraction, Aquarabia strengthens the destination’s push to become a global hub for leisure and family entertainment.

250,000sqm of attractions

Covering 250,000 sqm, Aquarabia features more than 22 rides and attractions spread across eight themed zones. Each area draws inspiration from the region’s natural environment, creating a mix of immersive settings and varied guest experiences.

Several headline attractions have been developed with WhiteWater West, including the standout “Junoon Drop,” described as the tallest and longest installation of its kind. The ride rises over 40m and accommodates multi-person rafts, blending scale with group-friendly design.

Innovation beyond the traditional

Aquarabia also introduces new concepts such as underwater ride systems and hybrid attractions, alongside familiar favourites like wave pools and spinning rapids. A surf lagoon powered by Endless Surf allows visitors of all skill levels to experience controlled wave conditions, from beginner to advanced.

With its official debut approaching, Aquarabia is expected to play a central role in boosting domestic tourism and enhancing family entertainment options. Its launch represents another step forward in Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to diversify its economy through world-class attractions.
