Skyscanner reveals travellers searching for month-long holidays over Eid

According to Skyscanner, 33% of UAE travellers are searching for trips more than 1-2 weeks during Eid Al Adha departing 14 June. Findings also revealed that 14% of travellers are planning for month-long holidays.
While the top five trending destinations for UAE residents are New York, Tokyo, Athens, Dublin and Male; the top five most searched for destinations for this year’s Eid Al Adha getaway are London, Athens, New York, Cairo and Manchester.
Emirates resumes services to Nigeria on 1 Oct

Emirates has announced its return to Nigeria from 1 October 2024, operating a daily service between Lagos and Dubai.
Serviced by Boeing 777-300ER, EK783 will depart Dubai at 0945hrs and arrive in Lagos at 1520hrs, with the returning flight EK784 leaving Lagos at 1730hrs to arrive into Dubai at 0510hrs the following day.
Travellers can expect to enjoy eight First Class suites, 42 Business Class seats, and 304 Economy Class seats. With the resumption of operations to Nigeria, Emirates operates to 19 gateways in Africa with 157 flights per week from Dubai, with further reach to an additional 130 regional points in Africa through its codeshare and interline partnerships with South African Airways, Airlink, Royal Air Maroc, Tunis Air, among others.
British Airways returns to Jeddah in Nov 2024

At the recent Great Futures Expo in Riyadh, British Airways announced its return to Jeddah from 4 November 2024.
With flight bookings available to book now, the four-per-week service will be serviced by the airlines’ Boeing 787 fleet.
Chief Commercial Officer of British Airways, Colm Lacy, said, “We have a long history of connecting families, friends and businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with our home in London. There are significant opportunities for businesses in both countries, so we’re pleased we can re-build our connectivity and strengthen links between the two kingdoms.”
