Beirut flights cancelled

As safety concerns heighten with conflict in the Middle East, more international airlines have suspended flights to the region. According to various reports by Alarabiya News, The Guardian and Egypt Independent some of the airlines that have updated their services as of 25 September include:

Suspended until 25 September

GCC based airlies Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Qatar Airways have suspended fights until 25 September.

Suspended until further notice

Airlines that have suspended services to and from Lebanon until further notice include Air Algerie, Air India, Egyptair LOT and United Airlines.

Air France-KLM

Air France has suspended flights to Beirut until 1 October, while its Tel Aviv flights which were briefly suspended from 17 September have since resumed service.

KLM has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until 26 October, while its low-cost counterpart Transavia will only resume service to Tel Aviv after 31 March 2025, and to Amman and Beirut after 3 November 2024.

Cathay Pacific

The Hong Kong-based airline cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until 27 March 2025.

Delta Air Lines

Flights between between New York and Tel Aviv have been cancelled on Delta through to 31 December.

EasyJet

The low-cost UK based carrier stopped services to Tel Aviv in April and will resume flights on 30 March 2025.

IAG

IAG-owned Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling cancelled operations to Tel Aviv until Jan. 12, 2025, while flights to Amman were cancelled until further notice, it said in an emailed comment.

Lufthansa Group

The German airline group said it was suspending all connections to and from Tel Aviv and Tehran until 14 October, while flights to Beirut will remain suspended until 26 October.

Ryanair

Europe’s biggest budget airline cancelled services to Tel Aviv until 26 October, citing β€œoperational restrictions.”

Sundair

The German airline cancelled flights between Berlin and Beirut until 27 September and their flights between Bremen and Beirut remain suspended until 23 October.

SunExpress

SunExpress has suspended flights to Beirut through to 17 December.

Lebanese airspace alerts

Britain advised UK airlines not to enter Lebanese airspace until 4 November due to β€œpotential risk to aviation from military activity.”
