Starting from the 1 July 2024, Gulf Air will be flying four times a week to Munich, Germany on its Airbus A321neo aircraft. With flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays Gulf Air will arrive into Munich at 06:35 and depart for Bahrain at 12:20. Flights on now available for booking.
Bahrain’s strategic location in the Arabian Gulf offers convenient road access via the King Fahd Causeway, facilitating travel to neighbouring Saudi Arabia for business and leisure travellers. As an international hub, Bahrain also offers convenient connections to other destinations in Asia.
This move adds to Gulf Air’s existing European presence, which includes seasonal destinations such as Nice, Geneva, Malaga and Bodrum. The new Munich route brings Gulf Air’s total weekly flights to Germany to 11. This expansion marks a significant milestone since Gulf Air’s inaugural flight from Bahrain to Frankfurt in 1986.
