Travel Agents, if you have a client considering a cruise but for some reason, they’re hesitating to book – this special offer is for you. Well actually… them.

AROYA Cruises, the first Arabian cruise line, is marking the holy month of Ramadan by giving curious cruisers the chance to try before they buy a sailing on one of their ships.

The ‘Ramadan Along the Horizon’ experience takes place on the 1,682-cabin ship Aroya and includes access to onboard facilities such as the gym, pool, spa, and Kids Club. Visitors will also be to attend scheduled programs such as talks on Ramadan and cultural activities and enjoy Iftar and Suhoor offerings as well as Ramadan-themed activities.

For those enjoying the ship tour so much that they want to stay on board, AROYA will extend the visit with an overnight stay.

Ramadan Along the Horizon is available almost daily until the end of March while Aroya is docked in front of the Jeddah Yacht Club.

AROYA Cruises officially launched in 2023 however its first ship, Aroya, set sail in December last year. The cruise line is a separate business unit of Cruise Saudi with an independent operations and management team based in Jeddah.

As part its operations, the cruise line aims to provide year-round experiences that are tailored to Saudi Arabians as well as GCC nationals and residents.

As the first ship in the fleet, Aroya can accommodate 3,362 passengers within 1,678 cabins including balconies overlooking the sea. The ship also has 15 restaurants, 20 venues including a 1,018-seater theatre, one of the cruise industry’s largest Kids Zone and exclusive places for women including a pool, gym and separate prayer room.

Prior to the cruise line’s first sailing, Executive Director of Marketing at Cruise Saudi, Turky Kari, told Rihlat Travel News that AROYA Cruises would revolutionise the cruise experience by being the first to cater to the Arabian market.

“By merging local authenticity with the global standards of premium cruising, we blend Saudi’s rich cultural heritage with exceptional experiences and hospitality at sea,” he explained. “AROYA Cruises offers guests a unique gateway to explore the beauty of the Red Sea and surrounding destinations, providing exclusive access to the region’s most iconic coastal sites.”
