Abu Dhabi’s got the travel trade hooked

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has just dropped two shiny new e-learning modules on its Experience Abu Dhabi Experts Platform, and they’re basically catnip for travel pros hungry to up their game.

Say hello to the Official Abu Dhabi Pass and Ramadan in Abu Dhabi modules, specifically created to give the global travel trade all of the insider intel required to craft smarter itineraries, impress their clients, and keep Abu Dhabi firmly on the map as a year-round showstopper of a destination.

The platform has long been one of DCT Abu Dhabi’s biggest hits, serving up a deep dive into everything the UAE capital has to offer. These new modules focus heavily on practical, trade-ready insights designed to help agents understand the destination on a deeper level, and ultimately sell it with confidence.

Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, said:

“These new modules reflect how the Experience Abu Dhabi Experts Platform continues to evolve and how we prioritise providing our partners with practical, hands-on tools that make a real difference to how they sell the destination. Whether it’s helping them package the emirate’s leading attractions through the Abu Dhabi Pass or giving them the cultural insight to guide visitors respectfully during the holy month, this expansion ensures the knowledge they gain translates directly into stronger product design, more memorable experiences, and greater visitor satisfaction.”

The modules

The Official Abu Dhabi Pass unlocks up to 50% savings across more than 70 of the emirate’s headline attractions, from Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi. The module walks agents through everything the pass bundles in, including complimentary tourist shuttle access, free tourist SIM cards with eSIM options, and exclusive trade-only rates through a dedicated B2B portal. For travel angents and sellers, this is an incredible one-stop tool to build better itineraries, iron out client journeys, and pack in more value without breaking a sweat.

Meanwhile, the Ramadan in Abu Dhabi module guides travel professionals through one of the emirate’s most meaningful and magical times of year. It covers the spiritual and cultural significance of Ramadan, the customs that shape local life, and the abundant experiences visitors can enjoy. Think atmospheric Iftars, late-night Suhoor spreads, serene mosque tours at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and browsing souks that come alive when the sun sets. With this module, agents can confidently recommend Abu Dhabi with cultural fluency and ensure travellers approach the holy month with respect, curiosity and wonder.

Both modules aim to upskill the global travel trade and deepen collaboration across key markets. As the emirate’s tourism landscape evolves at pace, the Experience Abu Dhabi Experts Platform remains a cornerstone of the strategy to inspire and empower agents through structured digital learning, equipping them to craft itineraries that champion the destination’s culture, creativity and warm hospitality.

The programme is now available in multiple languages across major markets including the UK, India, China, the USA, Australia, France, Italy, Germany and the GCC.
