The Ritz, Radisson, Four Seasons and Club Med are all expanding in the Middle East as tourism continues to skyrocket in the region.
Nujuma opens in the Red Sea
The first of its kind in the Red Sea, Nujuma, a Ritz Carlton Reserve, has opened on Ummahat Island. Set within one of the worldβs most secluded and preserved archipelagos surrounded by vibrant coral reefs, mangroves, bird and marine life, the exclusive retreat offers 63 one-three bedroom villas equipped with telescopes a Conservation House, five culinary venues, a wellness spa, and a personal host.
Radisson opens in Oman and expands in Riyadh
The Radisson Hotel Groupsβ inaugural Radisson branded hotel has opened in Muscat, offering 165 suites, several dining options, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, pool and spa facilities. Located the city centre and 18km from the international airport, the Radisson Hotel Muscat Panorama offers easy access to Muscatβs must-see attractions and many shopping destinations.
Over in Saudi Arabia, Radisson, in partnership with Zamil Group, is set to open the Radisson Collection Radisson to Riyadh before the end of 2024. The third Radisson Collection Brand in the Kingdom, the property boasts 170 luxury rooms including eight penthouses and four villas. Designed for modern comfort, guests will also enjoy a rooftop pool featuring sweeping views of the city.
Four Seasons to open in Madinah late 2024
Located in Madinah and just a stoneβs throw from the regionβs historical sites, the Four Seasons Hotel Madinah is set to open its doors later this year. The property will offer 246 rooms and suites, several dining and lounge options, meeting facilities, a gym, and a spa. This hotel adds to Four Seasonβs expanding portfolio in Saudi Arabia, with other properties in Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, Red Sea, NEOM and AMAALA.
Club Med to open its first resort in the GCC in 2028
Club Med has announced its first GCC resort in Musandam, Oman, slated to open in 2028. An Exclusive Collection Resort, Club Med Musandam will be located in the northeast Arabian Peninsula best known for its rugged mountains and untouched wilderness. With construction starting in 2026 and offering 300 rooms, guests can look forward to enjoying 600m of pristine beachfront space, a world-class kids club, luxurious yet authentic Omani experiences and a host of activities.
