Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre Riyadh Minhal unveiled after brand conversion

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal. The property offers 310 rooms, including 84 executive options, a Business Class Lounge, wellness facilities, and a rooftop pool. The convention centre includes 14 meeting rooms accommodating over 2,300 guests. Strategically located near King Salman Park, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers, enhancing Radisson’s footprint in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030.

Madinah sees 93% rise in licensed hospitality facilities in 2024

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism has reported a 93% increase in licensed hospitality facilities in the Madinah Region, bringing the total to over 450 by the end of 2024. Madinah now ranks third among Saudi cities for the number of licensed hospitality establishments, following Makkah and Riyadh. The region also recorded a 62% rise in the number of licensed rooms, with nearly 62,000 available. These developments are aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 objectives to promote tourism as a key economic driver.

Armani Group announces debut in Saudi Arabia with Diriyah residences

Dubai to add 11,300 new hotel rooms by 2027

Dubai is set to deliver more than 11,300 new hotel rooms by 2027, with 4,620 expected to open in 2025. The city currently has 724 hospitality establishments with 151,245 keys, and this figure is projected to rise to 162,600 rooms across 769 hotels. High-end accommodations dominate the market, with nearly 70% of new supply in the luxury and upper-upscale segments. The expansion supports Dubai’s tourism sector, which contributed AED236 billion ($64.2 billion) to the UAE’s economy in 2024.

Saudi Arabia to deliver 362,000 new hotel rooms by 2030

Saudi Arabia plans to add 362,000 hotel rooms by 2030, driven by a $110 billion investment in its hospitality sector under Vision 2030. In 2024, international arrivals reached 30 million, with targets set at 70 million by 2030. Major global events like World Expo 2030 and FIFA World Cup 2034 are expected to boost tourism further. Revenue from hotel rooms hit $5.6 billion in 2024. The Future Hospitality Summit will spotlight investment opportunities in this sector.
