Launched in 2019, the Red Sea International Film Festival is an international Saudi platform that celebrates excellence in film, opening its doors to the world. The annual event embraces the vibrant creative energy of Jeddah, the Kingdom, and the Arab region as a whole, presenting programs for film lovers, filmmakers, and the industry at large.
Each year, the Festival adopts a dedicated theme, all geared towards the art of film and culture, making it a new destination for Arab and international cinema with lively, diverse programs designed around the audiences. There is something for everyone; from local creatives, cinephiles, and families, to international industry professionals curious about the inside track on this new market.
The fourth edition is embracing the theme “The New Home of Film,” signifying the festival’s return to Historic Jeddah βAl-Balad.β
