Following the massive success of the K-POP OVERDOSE Concert earlier this year, music lovers can now look forward to a whole new level of entertainment at Dubai Festival City for the inaugural WATERBOMB Festival.

Popular in South Korea for its blend of K-pop and EDM music, exciting artists, and epic water fights and cannons, the WATERBOMB Festival is making its first debut on the world stage in Dubar, promising two days of incredible entertainment on the 7th and 8th of June 2024.

The first wave of artists has been announced and include award-winning singer CL as headliner. Finding fame as the leader of the Korean girl group 2NE1, CL (full name Lee Chae-rin) was the first female South Korean artist to appear on the Billboard Hot 100. Joining her will be South Korean rappers pH-1 and Big Naughty and each are expected to bring their own unique style and energy to the stage.

As Korean culture continues to gain popularity in the Middle East, the WATERBOMB Festival is poised to make a big splash in Dubai and participants are encouraged to come dressed in their swimwear and get ready to cool off in the summer heat as they engage in friendly competition and water-themed fun. Watch this space for the next wave of artist announcements coming soon!
