Dubai is famous for luxury hotels, but there are also many affordable options. You can find good stays under $100 (AED360) with basic comforts and handy locations.

This list covers some of the budget-friendly hotels in different parts of the city.

The cheapest on the list and a newer affordable hotel in the Barsha Heights district. This hotel is popular for both its price and perks. For roughly AED120-150 a night, you get a clean, comfortable room in a central location. The hotel is a 10-minute walk to the Dubai Internet City metro and close to hubs like Dubai Media City. The standout is the rooftop swimming pool (Open 8am – 7pm), licensed bar, and 24-hour gym.

A popular mid-range hotel in Dubai’s historic Deira district. Rove City Centre puts you steps from old Dubai charm while offering modern style and comfort. Guests love the central location for exploring Dubai’s heritage (you can easily reach Dubai Creek and enjoy a traditional abra boat ride for AED1 and visit nearby markets). The standout for this hotel is that you can book monthly and long-term stays and it comes with a big social lobby, game areas, and urban artwork. Notably, this hotel also has an outdoor pool, 24-hour laundromat and 24-hour gym.

Conveniently situated in Deira’s commercial hub across from City Centre Deira Mall, this 4-star Novotel packs in a lot of perks for a moderate price. The hotel has 188 modern rooms and suites along with access to a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. 

It’s only minutes from Dubai International Airport and steps from the metro, making it easy to reach downtown sights. This is a standout for business travellers who will appreciate the meeting rooms, proximity to the commercial and business district, and also a quick hop to the Dubai Creek Golf Club for downtime.

Being directly next to the metro station and the airport makes this hotel an ultra-convenient for travellers who want to make transfers easy and cost-effective. The hotel also offers meeting rooms for business travellers, and a free shuttle to the nearby Deira City Centre mall for shopping and business.

It’s a perfect choice for travellers who want a trusted brand (Hyatt) at an affordable price point.

Biggest Perk: Prime location to major attractions

This 4-star Marriott stands out for its prime location right behind Mall of the Emirates (walk over to go skiing at Ski Dubai) as well as walking distance to Al Sufouh beach, and close to Dubai Marina. There’s a rooftop pool and sun deck, a fully equipped gym, plus on-site dining including a bar. Rooms are modern and spacious, and the hotel offers free parking and a tour desk to help plan excursions.

Biggest Perk: Skyline view near the Burj Khalifa

Who would have thought you’d get a skyline view in Dubai on a budget? The Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road is located on the famous Sheikh Zayed Road near downtown. Offering city views, with some looking towards the Burj Khalifa, it’s an ideal base for exploring central Dubai as it’s very close to the Dubai Mall, World Trade Centre, and other attractions.

The hotel itself has multiple restaurants and a panoramic rooftop lounge. Guests can enjoy the wellness facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi included at a fraction of what nearby 5-star towers charge.

There are plenty of budget-friendly hotels in Dubai if you know where to look. But these balance amenities against price, and all of them have rooms under US $100 (AED360).
