Job Summary:
Leads the end-to-end operational delivery of all events across RSG’s destination assets, overseeing production, logistics, and on-ground execution to ensure seamless, high-quality guest and stakeholder experiences. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across three core units, Events Production, Events Operations, and Wearhouse, and is accountable for translating creative event concepts into flawlessly executed experiences that align with RSG’s brand standards, operational objectives, and destination vision.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and operational delivery of all events across RSG’s destination portfolio, ensuring alignment with Iyana’s overall mandate and RSG’s guest experience standards.
- Oversee the Events Production unit, directing the technical production of events including staging, AV, lighting, sound, and set design to deliver world-class event experiences.
- Direct the Events Operations unit, ensuring seamless on-ground execution from setup through to breakdown, maintaining the highest service and safety standards throughout.
- Manage the Wearhouse unit, overseeing inventory, equipment, asset management, and logistics to ensure all operational resources are available, maintained, and deployed efficiently.
- Develop and implement operational frameworks, SOPs, and execution playbooks to standardise event delivery quality and drive continuous improvement across all events.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with Events Design & Planning, Private Beach Activation, hospitality, security, and destination operations teams to ensure integrated event delivery.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and vendor/supplier relationships, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and value for money in all operational expenditures.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team, setting clear performance expectations, fostering a culture of excellence, and supporting talent development across all levels.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all operational issues during events, ensuring rapid resolution and maintaining stakeholder and guest experience quality at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- A Master’s degree or professional certification in Event Operations or Project Management is an advantage
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in event operations and production, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex events across entertainment, hospitality, or destination environments
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary operational teams including production, logistics, and warehousing functions
- Proficiency (Arabic and English) is required.
