Online travel company, MakeMyTrip, has partnership with Umrah specialists, Umrahme, to provide a seamless eVisa service for Umrach travellers.

The Umrah eVisa service offers a 90-day single-entry visa with additional benefits, such as medical insurance coverage, primary healthcare, and priority emergency care at any government facility. This streamlined process eliminates complexities, making travel planning easier for pilgrims.

The one-stop platform also features curated flight listings to Jeddah and Taif, along with handpicked hotel recommendations in Makkah and Madinah.

First-time travellers, especially, will appreciate personalised tips, guidance on local experiences, and a list of must-see sites.

Upon searching for Umrah-related flights, users will be redirected to a dedicated page to help them with further itinerary planning. The simplified solution, also available in Arabic, is aimed to ensure the hassle is taken out of the travel planning so pilgrims can focus on their spirituality and comfort throughoutΒ theirΒ journey.

Commenting on the service, Saujanya Shrivastava, Chief Operating Officer – Flights, Holidays & Gulf at MakeMyTrip, said, β€œOur focus remains on innovating for residents, enhancing their travel experience with tailored offerings. The launch of Umrah-led travel solutions follows the successful introduction of the Arabic language on our Android and iOS apps, making MakeMyTrip even more accessible for Arabic-speaking users.”

Mr. Manvendra Roy, Co-founder and CCO, Umrahme, added, β€œOur partnership with MakeMyTrip to deliver Umrah services is a testament to our proactive approach in providing innovative, customer-centric solutions. These services ensure a seamless journey, offering pilgrims a smooth and enriching experience.”

No doubt the service will contribute to Saudi reaching its target of 15 million Umrah pilgrims by 2025.
