Branded residences take centre stage at FHS World 2025

The Future Hospitality Summit (FHS World 2025) returns to Dubai this October with a spotlight on one of the fastest-growing segments in hospitality and real estate, branded residences. With an extraordinary 180% growth over the past decade and 1,746 projects worldwide, the sector is no longer a niche, it is a defining trend reshaping the future of living, particularly in the Middle East.

MENA is leading global growth

The Middle East is now home to 13% of completed supply and 25% of the global development pipeline, according to Global Branded Residences (GBR). Dubai leads the world as the top city for branded residential projects, surpassing hubs like Miami, New York, and London. Across the new pipeline projects announced in Q1 2025, 36% are in the MENA region. Of those, 75% are in the UAE, and 11% are in Egypt.

For travel agents and operators, this trend signals new opportunities to align luxury hospitality with long-stay living, broaden revenue streams, and cater to affluent clients seeking both lifestyle and investment value.

In the spotlight

On 29 October, the Branded Residences Forum will run alongside FHS World, dedicating a full day to unpacking the opportunities and challenges in this market in the Middle East. Under the theme “Where Brands Shape the Future of Living”, the forum will bring together global leaders in hospitality, real estate, and design to explore topics from investment and marketing strategies to sustainable development, legal frameworks, and cross-sector brand expansion.

Speakers include industry heavyweights from Accor, Marriott International, Zoku, Candy Capital, and more. The event will also debut the inaugural World Branded Residences Awards, recognising excellence in brokerage and transactions in this thriving sector.

As consumer demand for integrated living experiences continues to grow, the branded residences boom will redefine how hospitality and real estate converge, making FHS World 2025 the essential platform for shaping this new frontier.
