Just when you think NEOM’s got enough on its plate, they unveil their latest mega project to keep everyone on their tippy toes and squealing with excitement.

Magna, NEOM’s new luxury and sustainable coastline project spanning 120km, will feature 12 destinations – Treyam, Norlana, Epicon, Jaumur, Siranna, Aquellum, Xaynor, Elanan, Zardun, Gidori, Leyja and Utamo.

Comprising more than 2,500 premium residences, 15 luxury hotels, and 1,600 hotel rooms, conservation and preservation of the local natural flora and fauna will be at the forefront of their development. It is expected that this project will not only welcome more than 300,000 overnight guests per year but will also accommodate more than 14,000 residents and contribute SAR2.6 billion to Saudi Arabia’s GDP by 2030.Β

The Magna project is just one of the schemes currently being worked on in the Northwest of Saudi Arabia. Already in the pipeline for the region right now are the 170km city, dubbed β€˜The Line,’ which will include two parallel 500-metre mirrored skyscrapers; the Trojena ski resort set to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games; and the large floating port city, also known as the Oxagon. The region will also host a luxury island resort, Sindalah, close to the planned site of The Line.Β

Speaking on the development, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said, “Sindalah will be Neom’s first luxury island and yacht club destination in the Red Sea, providing a scenic gateway to the Red Sea that will become the region’s most exciting and attractive tourism location. It will be a destination where travellers can experience the true beauty of Neom and Saudi Arabia, above and below the water, making Sindalah the future of luxury travel.”
