Living across the Gulf comes with perks and this time around it’s exclusive offers and discounts for Qatar.

The country has extended its Visit Qatar Pass until the end of September, giving GCC residents access to up to 50% discounts on various travel amenities. From food and drinks to beauty and spa – there’s savings for all types of travellers.

With 43% of Qatar’s international visitors hailing from neighbouring GCC countries (including Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain), it’s no surprise the country is treating the region with access to generous travel discounts.

Before we get into the travel goods, Saudi Arabia led the influx of GCC travellers to Qatar in the first half of 2024, with over 700,000 visitors, followed by Kingdom of Bahrain with over 122,000, the State of Kuwait with over 98,000, the Sultanate of Oman with over 96,000, and the UAE with over 75,000.

Here’s what you can for. Five deals that will no doubt help Qatar continue kicking visitor goals this year:

For the girlies, spa experience with afternoon tea

Hey ladies, grab your best girlfriends and head to Hilton Salwa for an afternoon of pure (and discounted) indulgence.

Through the Visit Qatar Pass, GCC residents can book a spa experience with afternoon tea from $221 per person.

Who wouldn’t love a well-being massage or hydrating facial followed by unwinding with a cup of tea?!

For the families, laze around the beach club

Nestled in Doha’s vibrant West Bay area, the beach club offers everything one could possibly want during a day at the beach from volleyball nets (and balls) to sunbed lounging, ping pong, football and more.

Visitors will also have access to Qatar’s largest floating waterpark, a 70m park suitable for all ages.

Available through the app from $90 per person, the tour will take travellers to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, an ancient fort that once flourished as a centre of trade, fishing and pearling.

The tour runs from approximately four hours with departures at 9am and 1.30pm.

For the landscape, a full day at Inland Sea

Have every detail of your day taken care of with a full day trip at Inland Sea from $253 per person. The day starts with a pick up from your hotel for a one-hour drive to your destination.

Upon arrival, the treats will start to flow with Arabic coffee, sweets and dates available along with opportunities to do henna tattoos and hold a Falcon. The day wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Natural Reserve to admire the Middle East’s native gazelles and oryx.

Other highlights include camel riding, dune bashing, guided walk to spot desert wildlife, quad bike riding, beach volleyball and more.
