MENA’s leading travel marketplace and app, Wego has recently formed a strategic partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board. This collaboration aims to enhance the visibility of Jordan as a prime travel destination by leveraging Wego’s extensive digital platform and marketing capabilities. The joint effort focuses on showcasing Jordan’s rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural beauty, including the ancient city of Petra, the healing waters of the Dead Sea, and the stunning desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Through targeted campaigns, Wego and the Jordan Tourism Board hope to attract more tourists to experience the diverse attractions and hospitality of Jordan.

In addition to promoting Jordan, Wego also highlights several nearby destinations perfect for short-haul holidays, especially for travellers from Kuwait who can visit visa-free. These include:

Baku, Azerbaijan
Combining heritage and modern flair, Baku can give a city experience alongside unique cultural sites. For Formula 1 lovers, Baku is the 17th race on the calendar, so visiting in September will coincide with race weekend.

Salalah, Oman
Famous for traditional Omani handcrafts, Salalah is a great option for natural experiences. The Dhofar Mountains, desert, wadis, and beaches make for the perfect getaway.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Jeddah, with its historic districts, bustling markets, and scenic waterfront, combines traditional Arabian culture with modern attractions.

Tbilisi, Georgia
Known for its picturesque landscapes of the Caucasus Mountains, vibrant wine regions, and historic architecture. Tbilisi will make you want to stay more than a couple of days.

Amman, Jordan
From the Jordan Museum, historic Roman ruins and the Rose City, to enjoying Amman’s warm hospitality and Middle Eastern culture, it’s an excellent short break.
