Hilton’s new resort in RAK

Set to open in Q4 2026, Ras Al Khaimah can look forward to the Hilton Marjan Island Beach Resort & Spa. The resort will feature 315 rooms and 35 suites, six dining options, and various leisure facilities, including a 360-degree sky pool and a spa. The new property, developed in collaboration with M Hospitality, aims to boost Hilton’s presence in the region, adding to its 36 other UAE hotels. The resort will cater to the increasing number of visitors to Ras Al Khaimah, expected to reach 3.8 million by 2027.

Oman set to get $500m Trump resort

The Trump Organization has joined forces with the Oman Group and real-estate developer Dar Global to bring the complex to just 10 mins from downtown Muscat. Offering 140 rooms, the resort will also feature a spa, an 18-hole golf course, banquet and meeting facilities, private beach access, and a members-only club. Construction is underway and is due to hit its first phase milestone by 2027, with an opening date of December 2028. 

Park Hyatt officially opens in Marrakesh

The Park Hyatt Marrakech has officially opened its doors, marking a significant addition to the luxury hotel market in Morocco. Situated within the Al Maaden residential and leisure development, the 19 acre resort features 130 properties, an 18-hole golf course, multiple dining venues, and a spa. What sets this hotel apart is the striking art present throughout the hotel. Guests can marvel at the 700+ paintings and decorative objects created by articles in Senegal, Spain, France, Benin, Italy, Japan, and Morocco. 

Blending contemporary design with Moroccan influences, guests will no doubt enjoy the stunningly appointed facilities, includin multiple dining venues, a spa, and golf course. This opening enhances Hyatt’s presence in North Africa, aiming to attract both leisure and business travelers to the culturally rich and scenic city of Marrakech.

Accor’s Global Leadership Council

Global hospitality group Accor has announced its Global Leadership Council (GLC) launch. Aiming to redefine the future of corporate travel and meetings, the council will be formed from leaders of 17 international corporations across a variety of industries with an employee base of 2.7 million travellers. Alongside Accor senior executives, the GLC will focus initially on three key areas; traveller experience and well-being, sustainability, and optimising cost management. The first meeting has already been held in Paris.
