Tallest hotel in the world welcomes new MD
The world’s tallest hotel towering at 365m, Ciel in Dubai Marina, has a welcomed Nick Patmore as their new Managing Director. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the hostality industry, Patmore will oversee the hotel operations ensuring high quality of service and guest satisfaction from check-in to check-out. Previously, Patmore was hotel manager at JW Marriott Marquis, and also held leadership positions at other pretigious addresses including Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai and One&Only Cape Town. His extensive experience have seen him work with celebrity chefs includingNobu Matsuhisa, Gordon Ramsay, Atul Kochhar and Reuben Riffel.
Rotana appoints new Director of Content
Rotana has promoted Reem Hiasat from their corporate marketing and communications team to Director of Content Marketing for the brand. Overseeing the creation, management and distribution of content aimed at driving traffic and boosting conversions. Hiasat will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive website content strategy, and enhance the online presence and performance of Rotana’s 80 operational properties in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and TΓΌrkiye (Menat). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Jordan and a Diploma in Digital Marketing and Social Media from the German Jordanian University.
Courtyard by Marriott Riyadh welcomes new PR and Marketing Manager
Courtyard by Marriott Northern Ring Road Riyadh, has appointed Nada Soliman as their new PR & Marketing Manager. Previously the PR & Marketing Manager at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort and Marketing Executive at The Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo, Egypt, Soliman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The American University in Cairo and a High School Diploma in Business from BBC International School in Cairo, Egypt.
New GM for W Dubai
W Dubai on Palm Jumeirah has appointed Orhun Denizoglu as their new General Manager, where he aims to continue driving revenue at W Dubai – The Palm through strategic planning and enhancing guest experiences, leveraging his extensive expertise and deep understanding of Marriott culture and its brands. Orhun brings with him nearly three decades of experience in hospitality working in senior managerial roles internationally at the likes of JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doham, Bangkok Marriott Hotel, Sukhumvit in Thailand, JW Marriott Medan in Indonesia, Ayada Maldives, and Fairmont Bab Al-Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
