Radisson’s latest Amman expansion 

Radisson Hotel Group signs two new properties with developer Thabat in Jordan

Radisson Hotel Group is making strides in Jordan with the announcement of two new properties set to open in 2028. The Radisson RED Amman Downtown and Radisson Collection Residence aims to cater to growing tourism in the region as well as with local attractions including the Roman Theatre and Amman Citadel.

The Radisson Collection Residence will offer 128 luxury keys, 18 two-bedroom apartments, meeting spaces, dining outlets and pool lounge. The Radisson RED will add a vibrant and contemporary twist with 197 rooms including seven suites, lobby bar and co-working space. 

Rixos launches the Rixos Tersane Istanbul

The iconic Rixos Hotels brand has officially opened its newest property, Rixos Tersane Istanbul, marking a significant addition to Turkey’s vibrant tourism scene. The hotel offers a unique blend of architectural heritage and modern luxury, strategically located along the historic Golden Horn. With 432 rooms and suites, this 600-year-old restored property brings together a range of amenities, including extensive dining options and a full wellness centre, catering to both leisure and business travellers. 

Extended summer offers at the Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection, Dubai

Dubai’s Al Habtoor City Hotel is extending its summer offering inviting students, parents, and teachers to enjoy a variety of packages before the new school term begins. Highlights include spacious family connecting rooms, free stays for children under five, complimentary kids club access, and exclusive sports classes. The location provides easy access to Dubai’s landmarks via a free shuttle. Teachers can indulge in spa treatments, including massages and afternoon tea, as part of the Super Teacher Treats package.

Sustainability push from DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai

DoubleTree by Hilton in Dubai has recently been recognised for its sustainability efforts. The hotel is focusing on reducing its carbon footprint with initiatives like energy-efficient lighting, waste reduction programs, and sourcing local produce for its restaurants. Hilton’s ‘Travel with Purpose’ strategy is central to this, aiming to double the investment in social impact and reduce environmental output by 2030. The hotel also engages in community projects like desert clean-ups and tree planting, aiming to promote sustainability in the industry as well as the region.
