Members can book online through a dedicated link and receive discounts until December 2025.

DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah has completed a comprehensive makeover, which include a revamped lobby, kids’ park, paddle court, and water park. The new lobby boasts modern aesthetics with contemporary furniture, ambient lighting, and stylish dΓ©cor, while the kids’ park and water park have been refreshed with slip-resistant flooring and vibrant colors. General Manager Pieter Van Beugen said the goal was to enhance the overall guest experience, blending modern design with comfort and convenience, creating a welcoming and homely environment for guests.

From November 15-17, 2024, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort will host internationally-acclaimed ‘The World’s Best Pastry Chef’ Will Goldfarb, for an exclusive seven-course dessert tasting experience. The event is limited to 40 guests per evening, and will showcase Chef Goldfarb’s avant-garde creations, blending sweet and savory flavors, paired with exceptional beverages at The Lotus Lounge. Guests will witness the visionary talent of Chef Goldfarb, known for his artistic expressions and signature dishes like Chocobubbles 4 Evah and The Sugar Refinery. With more than 30 years of experience in prestigious kitchens, Chef Goldfarb’s innovative approach has earned him numerous accolades. The seven-course set menu is priced from AED 250 per adult, with optional beverage pairings.

ME Dubai partners with Al Jalila Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness

ME Dubai has partnered with Al Jalila Foundation for its MEforHER initiative, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month this month. Funds are being raised for breast cancer treatment and research through various promotions and initiatives. Wellness by ME, the hotel’s oasis of relaxation, will donate AED 50 to Al Jalila Foundation for every signature massage booked during October. Central Restaurant, ME Dubai’s Spanish tapas restaurant, will also contribute to the cause by donating AED 10 for every business lunch booked throughout the month.

Souq Al Wakra Hotel in Doha has opened, inviting foodies to experience the rich culinary traditions of Azerbaijan. Boasting an expertly crafted menu that uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including seafood from Al Wakra Local Market, patrons can look forward to feasting on a wide range of Azerbaijani dishes including traditional favorites like Plov, Dovga soup, Gutab flatbread, and kebabs. By introducing authentic Azerbaijani cuisine, Souq Al Wakra Hotel aims to add to Qatar’s colourful and diverse cuisine scene and dining experience.

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Middle East is hosting its 7th Annual Commercial Strategy Conference from 26-27 November 2024, at the Conrad Dubai. The conference will bring together hospitality professionals for industry insights, networking, and awards. The program features renowned speakers, including Global Futurist John Sanei and AVP Dubai Economy & Tourism’s Jeff Strachan, addressing topics such as AI, commercial collaboration, revenue management, and talent attraction.

The conference will offer various formats, including plenary sessions, masterclasses, roundtables, and networking receptions. Two highlights include the ROC(ing) Lightening Rounds, where industry leaders share wisdom in under seven minutes; and the ROCKSTAR Awards 2024, celebrating innovators and disruptors in the industry. Eight finalists will present their strategies on stage, with the audience voting for the winners. The conference will concludes with closing remarks from Jeff Strachan, providing actionable insights for future success. HSMAI Middle East Managing Director Mona Faraj emphasised the introduction of new experiences, including masterclasses and a focus on asset management, sustainability,Β as well as HR and AI.
