Etihad Airways and China Eastern enters joint venture
Etihad Airways and China Eastern have entered into the very first commercial joint venture between a Middle Eastern airline and a Chinese airline. Once implemented in 2025 upon securing all necessary regulatory clearances, this strategic partnership will allow the airlines to jointly develop and grow routes between UAE and China, resulting in a stronger combined network. Apart from increased access and flight options, passengers will also benefit from both airlinesβ full reciprocity to their existing frequent flyer programmes.
Riyadh Air and EGYPTAIR sign MoU
Riyadh Air has signed a Strategic Cooperation MoU with EGYPTAIR to offer travellers a wide range of exclusive benefits and more options when traveling between Riyadh and Cairo and a range of other domestic and international destinations across the Middle East and Africa.
Etihad Airways and EGYPTAIR strengthen ties
Etihad Airways and EGYPTAIR have entered into an MoU to enhance commercial and operational ties. Subject to regulatory approvals, the MoU will see codeshares between the two airlines extended, giving travellers increased access to the networksβ routes and connections between Egypt and the UAE, into Africa and Asia. Travellers will enjoy entire journeys on a single ticket and have their baggage checked through to their final destination.
