Digital Manager – DET

We are growing the team at Dubai Founders HQ, Dubai’s newly launched phygital platform supporting startups and scaleups.

DFHQ – A joint initiative by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

Job Objective

The Digital Platform Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should bring strong delivery discipline, while also having the strategic ability to identify platform opportunities, challenges, and growth areas, and translate these into a clear digital roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage digital platform operations, including platform updates, feature rollouts, issue resolution, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate closely with business, technology, content, community, program, and digital platform teams to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external technology vendors to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Monitor platform performance, user engagement, and operational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and execution of a digital platform roadmap based on business needs, user insights, platform performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot platform-related issues by coordinating with technical teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure platform changes, updates, and enhancements are delivered in line with agreed scope, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Maintain strong governance around platform delivery, issue tracking, vendor performance, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early, and recommend practical solutions to address them.
  • Support continuous improvement of digital platform processes, workflows, and user experience.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in digital operations, product operations, product management, or digital platform delivery.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and coordinating platform updates, feature rollouts, and digital delivery activities.
  • Strong understanding of CMS and web platforms.
  • Basic understanding of technical architecture and platform systems; deep technical or coding expertise is not required.
  • Proven ability to manage and align multiple internal stakeholders across business, content, community, program, and technology teams.
  • Strong delivery discipline with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, priorities, and issue resolution.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges, and contribute to the development of a growth-focused digital roadmap.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused working style with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
