Dubai’s hotel sector is showing early signs of recovery ahead of the summer season, with demand expected to climb to 20-30% of pre-disruption levels following a sharp slowdown between March and May, according to RateGain.

The AI-powered travel and hospitality technology company said hotel demand had previously dropped to between 7% and 14% of normal levels amid regional geopolitical disruption, but gradual stabilisation is now underway. The recovery is being supported by improving air connectivity, the return of regional and business travellers, and the gradual comeback of MICE events.
