Dubai advances AED500m Al Mamzar Beach Project under $3bn Plan

Dubai is progressing the AED500 million Al Mamzar Beaches development as part of its wider AED3 billion coastal expansion plan, aimed at boosting tourism capacity and enhancing public spaces.
The project spans 4 million sq ft and is expected to accommodate up to 7 million visitors annually, supporting Dubai’s goal to increase beach capacity by 170%. It includes 35 leisure and service facilities, more than 5.5 km of tracks, and features such as a 24/7 women-only beach, a floating walkway and waterfront dining. Authorities say the project will create over 65 investment opportunities while integrating smart technologies to improve safety and visitor experience.
Ajman introduces fee waivers to boost tourism sector

Ajman has launched a package of incentives to support tourism businesses and attract investment, under directives from Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. The measures include a six-month deferral of tourism fees, exemptions from late renewal fines, and waivers on event permits and licence renewal fees. Authorities have also introduced interest-free installment plans for dues.
Additional steps include free entry to museums until the end of 2026 and exemptions for tourism operators from participation fees in government-led exhibitions and promotional events.
Jordan welcomes French charter flight as inbound recovery signal

A charter flight from France carrying 105 tourists arrived at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, signalling continued recovery in Jordan’s inbound tourism sector. The flight, organised by Atelier Voyages and supported by the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), reflects growing demand from key European markets. Officials said the arrival highlights renewed confidence in Jordan as a destination and the impact of targeted marketing campaigns.
The JTB, in coordination with government and industry partners, are working to expand charter and low-cost flight programmes to boost visitor numbers.
