1. Surf Abu Dhabi
The highly anticipated waterpark to hit the UAE, Surf Abu Dhabi is claiming to be “the grandest and most magnificent artificial wave on the entire planet”. Set to open by Ocober 2024, this will be a new bucket-list surf destination for surf entusiasts. Developed by Modon Properties in collaboration with surfing legend Kelly Slater, the park will cater to all skill levels. Featuring cutting-edge technology, surfers will enjoy epic barrels, long rides and the highest man-made waves.
2. Atlantis Aquaventure, Dubai
The first Middle Eastern water park to earn a CAC (Certified Autism Center) designation, Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark in The Palm is inclusive, accessible and doesn’t skimp on the attractions. As the world’s largest water park it has recently undergone an expansion to a private beach, marine animal habitat and lazy river alongside a large collection of rides.
3. Yas Waterworld, Abu Dhabi
As one of the most famous water parks, we had to add Yas Waterworld, Abu Dhabi to the list. More than 40 rides and attractions can be found at the park including the world’s first hydro-magnetic tornado waterslide alongside the wave pools and children’s play areas. Notably, the park also features the world’s largest surfable sheet wave and the region’s only 5D water adventure in its 37 acres.
4. Dreamland Aqua Park, Ras Al Khaimah
Located in Umm Al Quwain, and one of the largest water parks in the region, Dreamland Aqua Park has a variety of slides, a wave pool, and water attractions. It also features a mini zoo with photo opportunities, and a pool bar to accommodate the whole family.
