Check in! New hotels opening across the Middle East in 2025 

If you were excited about all the new air routes taking off across the Middle East in 2025, then you’ve got a lot to look forward in the accommodation sector. 

While 2024 saw the opening of a new Marbella and a record-breaking One&Only in Dubai, the revitalisation of the Ritz-Carlton in Al Wadi and the arrival of MΓΆvenpick Hotel & Apartments Ghala Muscat, 2025 will spoil travellers with 40 new hotels coming online in Dubai, a Six Senses arriving in Saudi Arabia and so much more! 

Read on for some of the exciting new hotels and resorts opening across the Middle East in 2025: 

Six Senses Amaala, Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea development is set to make significant progress over the next 12 months with multiple hotels and resorts coming online, including the Six Senses Amaala. 

In addition to its unique location, a highlight of the property will be its beachfront villas and residences that offer privacy surrounded by natural beauty. Visitors can also expect to enjoy a world-class wellness center, a full-service spa and the option for a personalised wellness program. 

The Red Sea Edition, Saudi Arabia

Next up for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea is the opening of the new Edition Hotel. Setting itself apart with an innovative design, the property also aims to deliver refined luxury and top-end hospitality.

Highlights of The Red Sea Edition will be the 240 guestrooms and suites that combine cultural heritage with modern luxury, as well as the signature spa experiences, swimming pool and world-class gym. 

Miraval The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

Also opening in the Red Sea this year, will be the high-end wellness resort, Miraval The Red Sea. Located on Shura Island, the property is described as a retreat that merges relaxation with mindfulness and elegance.  

Highlights of the property will be the 180 luxury rooms and 20 private villas as well as the diverse culinary offerings, the signature Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen and the property’s architecture. 

Jayasom Wellness Resort, Saudi Arabia

And another one for the Red Sea is the luxury wellness retreat Jayasom Wellness Resort. The property will open with 153 rooms including 24 private residences. 

Highlights of the resort include the 7,000 square meter wellness facilities, including treatment rooms, an adults-only area, and its views of the Red Sea coastline. 

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Amaala at Triple Bay, Saudi Arabia

Expected to be one of the more luxurious properties when it opens in the Red Sea this year, is the Four Seasons Resort. 

The resort will be located along the north-western coast of the development to offer views of the bay and coastline. Guests can expect the best-of-the-best with the property sourcing ingredients from its own organic garden. 

Other highlights will include the spa, top-end fitness center and 200 luxurious rooms each with their own private pool. Golfers will also enjoy the 27-hole golf course. 

Clinique La Prairie Amaala, Saudi Arabia

And last but certainly not the least, the Red Sea development is set to open its first holistic Clinique La Prairie this year. The resort is a one-of-a-kind property focusing on health and wellness. 

With only 52 rooms and suites as well as 13 villas, the property is a private escape focused on providing guests with nutrition, medical care, movement and wellbeing. 

Highlights include the beach club, workshop and training rooms as well as the on-site museum. 

Four Seasons Hotel Madinah, Saudi Arabia

Outside the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia will welcome the Four Season Hotel Madinah which is expected to be a favourite amongst pilgrims. 

Located near Al-Masjid an-Nabawi also known as the Prophet’s Mosque, the hotel features 246 rooms and suites focused on providing comfort and luxury. 

In addition to its proximity to places of worship, highlights of the hotel include its large event space, spa, fitness center and architecture. 

W Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Coming to Saudi Arabia’s capital is the W Riyadh, a luxury hotel located in the the city’s high-end King Abdullah Finance District.  

The property will have 210 stylish rooms along with seven restaurants, retail spaces and evet facilities. A highlight of the hotel will be the signature W experience which includes the spa and fitness center. 

Ciel, Dubai

One of 40 new properties opening in Dubai this year is the Ciel, located in the Marina. Standing 365 metres high, the hotel is expected to be the world’s tallest when it officially opens. 

Height aside, highlights of the new property will be its located in the Marina overlooking the Palm Jumeirah as well as its rooftop infinity pool. Guests (and non-guests) will also have access to a 360-degree glass observation deck as well as world class fitness facilities and 24/7 dining. 

Fairmont Dubai Skyline, Dubai

It’s all about showcasing Dubai’s skyline in 2025, with the new Fairmont standing 226 meters high and offering spectacular views of the city. 

Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the property will have 181 rooms and suites along with 121 residences. In addition to the view, a highlight of the hotel will be the full-floor penthouse suite as well as its location of only 17 minutes from Dubai Mall and 25 minutes from the airport. 

Honeymoon Island, Dubai

Inspired by the luxurious Maldives is Dubai’s new 5-star island destination, Honeymoon Island. Located within the Heart of Europe in the Dubai World Islands, the island will be built over water and include 121 rooms also referred to as β€˜floating seahorses’. 

As well as the unique accommodation, highlights of the island will be the series of boardwalks, floating jetties, white sandy beach and carefully landscapes gardens. Oh, and if that wasn’t cool enough, the island will be in the shape of a love heart! Awwww. 

Kempinski Floating Palace, Dubai

Keeping with the theme of floating accommodation, Dubai is also set to open a new floating hotel in the Arabian Gulf. 

The five-star Kempinski Floating Palace will have 163 rooms and suites along with high-end restaurants, a world-class spa and retail spaces. The palace will be located off Jumeirah Beach Road and it can be accesses by guests and non-guests via yachts. 

LXR Hotels and Resorts, Al Nawras Island, Abu Dhabi

Outside of Dubai, the rest of the UAE is also planning to open new properties throughout 2025, including the Al Nawras Island in Abu Dhabi. 

The private island resort will be a hit amongst couples, business travellers and golfers, thanks to its complete golf course. 

Al Nawras Island will feature 80 beach and water villas plus a 450 square meter two-bedroom royal villa, as well as a gym, fitness studio, tennis courts, beach club, three swimming pools and of course, a spa. 

Mondrian Abu Dhabi

Also coming to Abu Dhabi in 2025 is the 221-room Mondrian, which will mark the brand’s debut in the UAE. 

Known for Instagram-worthy interiors, the Mondrian will be located in downtown Abu Dhabi, along the canal. 

Aside from its social media design, highlights of the property will be the swimming pool, spa, kids club, gym and lagoon featuring an infinity pool with ocean views. 

Rosewood Doha, Qatar

Over in Qatar, the Rosewood Doha will open this year with 185 rooms and suites as well as 173 services apartments. 

Expected to merge Middle Eastern influence with luxury, highlights of the hotel will be its various dining options, wellness center, and Manor Club executive lounge with personalised opportunities for guests. 

Andaz Doha, Qatar

Also coming to Qatar in 2025 is the Andaz Doha which will be in the city’s bustling suburb of West Bay. 

Fitted with 256 rooms, including 32 suites, and four Royal suites, the hotel will offer guests contemporary luxury with social media-worthy views of the sea. 

Highlights of the property will include a Singaporean street food eatery, a jungle-themed bar as well as an outdoor pool, gym, and convenient access to upscale malls.
